Excellent, the hotel was very well appointed the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The staff very pleasant and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was brought to our room each day, continental, which suited us, more than enough, the local strawberry jam a favourite, and we found this a relaxing start to the day. Would definitely stay again and hope it’s not long before that happens. Thank you so much Fernbank loved it 🙂

Very clean and a welcoming friendly service. All rooms have tea coffee and biscuits. Breakfast is served in your room. I will return again.

Thank you for looking after us, we have had a lovely few days stay with you. We had the small double room and it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable and their was everything we needed.It was lovely to have a basket of fresh fruit waiting for us, a jug of fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits.The continental breakfast was more than adequate and all fresh and locally sourced.The staff were very polite and helpful and respectful of privacy, whilst ensuring they kept everything lovely and clean.Thank you all and yes we will be seeing you again.Kind Regards,Amy and Geoff

The room was immaculate. Clean, tidy and comfortable.In addition to the usual tea bags and coffee, a bowl of fresh fruit was placed on the breakfast table, by the window and a lovely box of delicious Border biscuits was in the fridge.Certainly top of the list for next year!

Really loved our stay! Started off with a generous free upgrade and great communication. Self check in was very easy and there was so much on offer for the breakfast! In a nice quite location within very quick walking distance to the town and beach. Was overall very impressed and happy with everything, Would definitely stay again!

The Fernbank was absolutely fantastic! The owners and staff were all so lovely and very helpful. It is situated in a fantastic location and is only a short walk into the town and to the beach. The breakfast was fantastic and fresh every morning with a great variety of choice. We will definitely be returning.

The Fernbank hotel nestles in a lovely quiet spot on the edge of Shanklin which really is peaceful. We only spent four days here but nothing was too much trouble for the owners.Continental breakfast was very good and filling. We asked for lighter bedding as it was very warm weather and when we came back later that day this had been done and we were very comfortable for the rest of our holiday.All in all a very pleasant stay.

My friend and I stayed at Fernbank for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Room 8 is a spacious twin with small breakfast table with views ovover the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room serviced every day. The small silent fridge is a nice touch, along with the packet of biscuits. A small addition could be a biscuit tin to keep them fresh as too many to eat in one sitting! The breakfasts were tasty with good quality items although after 5 days some more variety would have been nice. Fernbank is perfectly located for the old town and Shanklin Chine in a quiet residential area. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Many thanks 😊

Very nice hotel, very close to Shanklin village, yet is located on a quiet road/area. The rooms were cleaned to perfection. The hotel uses self-check-in and out so everything is fast and hassle-free. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is served in the room according to your own wishes. Can definitely recommend it.

The room was lovely , spacious and clean. Breakfast bought to your room every morning and big thank you to the lady who delivered it always with a smile. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would stay again when we next visit the Isle of Wight.

Our stay was most enjoyable very clean and comfortable environment. The staff and owner were extremely pleasant friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and of a very high quality. I will certainly be booking this venue in the future. The only think that could have been added is a full length mirror in the room. Well done Fernbank

Lovely as ever. We stayed at Fernbank 4 years ago and returned knowing that standards are high.Had a lovely break.

Accommodation clean and adequately spacious, common areas clean and well kept. Good breakfast. Parking a little difficult at times but adequate with a little shuffling.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and a warm welcome, top notch breakfast.

This was my second visit to the Fernbank and it was every bit as good as the first.The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is excellent.The new owners were very friendly and welcoming

Had another lovely holiday at Fernbank, Room was spotless, lovely Breakfast, I did walk the Wight and the hosts left me a pack lunch at Receiption for my 27 Mile walk, lovely it was, perfect Thank you so much.I would 100% recommend the Fernbank Hotel. I can not fault the hosts and everyone who works at the hotel.Always made to feel very welcome.
