We had a wonderful few days staying here. The room was lovely. Very clean, bed comfortable and bathroom nice, even if the hot tap did squeak!The continental breakfast was very, very good and nicely presented each morning.The staff were so friendly.The only problem was possibly with parking. The parking spaces were not very big and if you have a longer car, like ours, it sticks out. Fortunately not all bays were used when we stayed.Was convenient for the Old Village and restaurants and there is bus stop not far away too.All in all one of the best hotels we have stayed in.We would certainly return if we came to the Isle of Wight again. - Amanda K
Fabulous, stunning location.Beautiful room, with very comfortable bed and furnishings.Breakfasts were tasty, plentiful and had a good choice of first class products.Red squirrels visible in the tree canopy on several mornings, with nuthatches, woodpeckers, white doves, blue and great tits and a lovely array of lushious plants, flowers and trees complementing the view from our windows.Hotel was in an excellent position for reaching Old Shanklin's many attractions.Friendly, approachable staff.Definitely a destination to return to, first class! - Catherine W
This was the second time we have stayed at Fernbank hotel spotlessly clean lovely large bed very quiet a very nice view from our room good contintal breakfast would stay again- James b
