The Fernbank enjoys one of the most beautiful positions in the Old Village of Shanklin, Big Mead and the lovely Manor walk are just across the road. The Old Village, Chine, Shops and numerous eateries are all within a few hundred yards, while the beach is but a short stroll through the beautiful Tower Cottage Gardens. A noted spot for red squirrel, sightings. The main town of Shanklin is within easy walk and offers a wide range of shops.

The Fernbank is central for all amenities, whilst being tucked away in a quiet corner on the edge of the countryside, with uninterrupted views of St Martins Down. Situated in a magical position, overlooking its own subtropical garden, the Fernbank is the perfect location for walkers, and cyclists. As we are at the foot of St Martins Down, within five minutes walk, one is able to join a huge network of scenic walks that criss cross the island. A great place to stay and enjoy the diversity, that is the Isle of Wight.
